What does it really mean to concentrate, contemplate, meditate then perceive, conceive, consider and create?
Inspiration morning is about you and your ability to live for the moment and express what the moment offers and discovering how to express your own insight and understanding. It will include:
Sung words – David Ward – concert pianist and choir leader will start the day with a class designed to open heart and mind through the power of song.
Sound and Movement – Rebecca Brewin – poet and yoga teacher will conduct a movement and writing session, exploring how by connecting with our body we learn to write from the heart.
The Language of Gesture – Rukmini Jagdish – classical Indian dancer – will use the rich and evocative language of gesture as a source of inspiration for creative writing.
The Power of the Present – William Wray – writer and Founder of Wisdom Works – will employ exercises in conscious connection to encourage you to express what the moment offers.
There is no charge for all those registered on philosophy courses. Guests are also welcome – a fee of £10 applies. Please reserve places in advance in reception or by phone: 020 7034 4000.
